Harry Aikines-Aryeetey visits Wollaston

On Thursday 9th November we were privileged to have Harry Aikines-Aryeetey visit Wollaston and spend some time talking to students and answering their student questions.

His visit was part of a prize that Wollaston was nominated for, by a very kind and generous member of the public who won a competition run by Tesco and Muller.

He had some important messages for students:

“stress is something you create, try not to look at things in a negative fashion…there is no reason why you can’t put a positive spin on it…there is always something that goes wrong…think about how bad is it, how can I fix it”

“A challenge is a good thing, it tests your character and it builds you and it can build you to do great things, just enjoy it!”
