Enrichment, Trips and Visits

All faculties at Wollaston School provide a wide range of enrichment opportunities, both in school and further afield.

It is the intention of the school that every student has the opportunity to attend at least one residential experience during their time at Wollaston School.
The range of residential opportunities starts in Year 7 with a team building experience in the first term and all students are invited to take part in this visit which takes place at an outdoor education centre.

In years 8-11 there are a wide range of experiences available to students, from theatre visits in English and Maths Challenge competing against other schools, to a wide range of residential opportunities in the UK and abroad. Currently our programme includes visits to Belgium, Auschwitz and USA as well as a school ski trip to the European Alps.

Where enrichment opportunities are an essential part of National Curriculum subjects or GCSE specifications, there will be no charge for such visits.  Other enrichment opportunities can only take place where they are supported by voluntary contributions from parents.  For further information please click on the link to the school's charging policy below.
