On Friday 4th May the BTEC Performing Arts group invited a select group of individuals to participate in their ‘Interactive Sleep Experience’.

The experience was amazing and slightly unnerving! Each person performed their Character superbly and the set design and layout was so well done that I was completely disorientated and could not have said where I was in the Performing Arts block.

The stimulus for the piece was Salvador Dali’s “The Persistence of Memory” and the atmosphere created was of a surreal
dreamlike state, in which the lines between reality and dreams were deliberately blurred.
