National Apprenticeship Week Events

To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week tutors from different Year groups tackled an apprenticeship quiz with their forms in order to explore the wide variety of apprenticeship opportunities available. Erin Saunders , Wollaston school leaver of 2017 , gave a presentation to all of Year 12 informing them of her degree apprenticeship in scientific research and development. There were plenty of questions from the students who appeared to be enthused by the prospect of a good salary and no university tuition fees. To finish the week , Hannah Lok from Scott Bader spoke to Year 11 motor vehicle students about the work of her company and the different functional areas of the business and the opportunities within each area. She then did some bespoke careers work with sixth form students about their career interests.
