Pizza Party

A big well done to 7PMN and 8MIA  both forms won a Pizza Party for completing their required quizzes during Term 1 and Term 2.

In Year 7 and 8 their English homework is to read for 20 minutes per night and then students are required to complete a minimum of 1 quiz per half term, on completion of their reading book, the pass mark is 80%. Hopefully to embed a culture of reading and ensure they have the required reading and comprehension skills for later in their school career.

Year 9’s are required to complete a Book Review based on a book they are reading for their 20 minutes English homework per night. This provides an opportunity for students to practise skills they will need for their GCSE’s. The completed book review can be either e-mailed to Librarian@wollaston-school.net or entered onto the MLS system. 9 students completed the task to a satisfactory level, so congratulations to them.
