SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS THIS WEEK

We are delighted to have had the most excellent week in the PE faculty!

Fixtures – We have had 2 netball teams representing the school, 2 rugby teams successfully performing in a great spirit and level of play.

Primary School Event – Mr Roberts and our Sports Leaders, have organised and ran the Primary School Quick Sticks Hockey tournament at Wollaston, where we had over 70 Year 4 students playing, with many teachers and parents involved.

After School Clubs – We have had a whole host of clubs taking place this week including Fitness, Football, Gymnastics/Trampolining, 6th Form Sports and Rugby which have all been attended well.

A big thank you goes to the PE staff for all of their efforts and time taken to fulfil all of these opportunities and also the support of the students involved in a brilliant week.

If you would like more information on how students can get involved with activities and sports, please contact Mr J Kirk, PE Technician on akirkj@wollaston-school.net.
