Sports Days 2021

Sports Day

The Interhouse Sportsday for KS3 students year 7, year 8, year 9, was an amazing success. Students competed in their PE groups and against each other with all of their scores recorded. These scores were then collated and both individual winners and winning houses were identified. The amount of participation from all of the students was excellent and all of them engaged actively and successfully in the majority of the events. Highlights include:

  • Year 7 – Zane Cooper in Year 7 Long Jump, Ellie Knighton year 7 Shot put,  Iona Elwood 80om
  • Year 8 – Fynn Callister 800m, Sam Worthington Shot Put.
  • Year 9 – Emilia Cieszcyk 800m, Paul Judd Shot put.

The PE department have been so grateful and pleased with the effort students have put into their PE lessons and the sportsday events. We had some brilliant performances and the standard of some was outstanding. The most pleasing thing however was the support and kindness shown to those who wanted to compete and work for their house teams and Wollaston students showed their true positive and supportive approach. Also, the brilliant way students have conducted themselves throughout this year. Well done to Drake and well done to everyone who participated in an event.
