U15’s Girls Handball Regional finals run by England Handball

The following year 10 girls qualified for the regional handball finals after beating all of the schools in the district tournament in Kettering of February this year.

The final was held at Derby arena on Thursday 9^th May, it was an early 7.30am start. These girls had never even picked up a handball up until earlier this school year as part of their GCSE PE assessment, so have progressed extremely quickly to reach Regional level. The team had some tough competition and it was testing physically and mentally, it was great experience to be able to perform at this standard and level of competition (1 away from nationals)!

Wollaston school walked away placed 4^th in the Country!
