Army Outreach Team Visit

Wollaston School was visited by the Army Outreach team on Monday 26th February.

27 students from Year 12 / 13 completed activities including team control tasks, PT, a team ‘gun run’ and lessons in equipment and camouflage and concealment.

Despite freezing conditions every student completed every aspect of the day with determination, togetherness and outstanding effort.

Lead soldier Corporal R.Finnigan commented that our students were ‘ some of the very best we have worked with’.

He and his team also highlighted the performances of Marcus Anthony and Ben Plowman who were named as ‘Recruits of the Day’ – recognition of their high levels of fitness and teamwork.
