‘Night At The Oscars’ dance show

In the run-up to Christmas and we have had another busy week. I would like to thank all parents and staff for their support for our Night At The Oscars production, which took place on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. There were nearly 500 attendees and the audience over the two nights and nearly 100 students performing a rich variety of different dance numbers. My own favourite was Black Swan, in which the blend of beautiful dance movement, great costumes and amazing lighting was absolutely captivating.

Year 10 & 11 rugby teams advance to  County Vase Finals

I would like to pass on my congratulations to our Year 10  & 11 rugby teams and their coach Mr Bradbury, as both teams have both their respective County Vase Finals. The Year 11’s won their semi-final tie against Malcolm Arnold 17-3 and the Year 10 team triumphed in their County Vase semi-final at Chenderit School near Banbury earlier this week, winning  42-5. Both teams now advance to the County  Finals, which will be after we return to school in the New Year. We wish them luck.
