Maths Challenge Results

Senior Maths Team Challenge

We had 7 Sixth Formers take part in the senior Maths Challenge on the 8^th November and ALL 7 achieved a Bronze, Silver or Gold classification with 2 students qualifying for the Kangaroo round.

The Maths challenge is a prestigious competition run nationally and challenges even the most able Mathematicians. For all 7 students to achieve at least bronze is a fantastic achievement and we look forward to the follow on Kangaroo round on 2nd December 2016.

 

Senior Team Challenge

On the 10^th November we took four of our best Mathematicians to Abbeyfield School to compete in the Senior Team Maths Challenge. We came a very respectful 7^th out of 16 against some fierce competition, the team did themselves very proud and enjoyed themselves immensely.
