Sports Leaders
On Wednesday 7th July year 7 Sports leaders went to Cogenhoe Primary school to help with their sportsday. They helped run 8 multi skills activities and races for each of the eight year groups. They were amazing and teachers from Cogenhoe were so impressed with the students and how they encouraged all the pupils involved.

On Thursday 8th July year 9 Sports leadership Academy went to Bozeat Primary school to help with their sportsday. These students have just completed the community Sports leaders award level 1. They helped run 6 multi skills activities and races for each of Class in the school. They were amazing and teachers from Bozeat were so impressed with the students and how they encouraged all the pupils involved. The helped record scores, coach the young pupils and encourage them throughout the day. Mr Rust the head teacher was so impressed with the leaders he brought each student lunch at school on the Friday.

On Wednesday 14th July year 8 Sports leadership Academy went to Earls Barton Primary school to help with their sportsday. This was the first sports event that these year 8 leaders had taken part in due to the covid restrictions. These students have been training for a term every Wednesday afterschool. They helped run 8 multi skills activities and races for two year groups at a time the school. They teachers at Earls Barton were very impressed with the students and how they encouraged and helped all the pupils involved, but especially when working with reception. The helped record scores, coach the young pupils and encourage them throughout the day. Miss Ward the sports lead at was so impressed with the leaders.
