U16’s Girls Football County Cup final

The U16 girls played their quarter-final County Cup Final against Caroline Chisholm on Wednesday 5^th February this week.  This was a very tight game and the girls worked well under the pressure they found themselves in.

Lucy Smith Captained the team and planned a fail proof formation for the first half.  During the second half we changed the formation slightly to increase the defence and swap our subs on, however the hunger to win from the opposing team proved too much and we conceded 2 goals, seeing us lose 1-2 at full-time.

There were some excellent performances from all of the players, including our very own students who refereed and ran the line.
