Year 11 Information Evening
Last night we welcomed nearly 150 parents to the Year 11 Parent Information Evening. Parents engaged in sessions covering stress, led by the school nurse; English Language and Literature; Maths; Science and revision techniques and strategies run by our Year 13 students. Parents were engrossed in every day lesson activities giving them an insight into the skills and knowledge required for success in the GCSE exams, hopefully enabling them to support their son or daughter at home more effectively. The evening was received very positively with parents commenting how useful it had proved and how much they appreciated the ‘enthusiasm and dedication’ demonstrated by staff. Any parents unable to attend the event will be able to access the materials used from the website in due course.
